Their website obviously doesn't vet the handymen they post for. I've just been defrauded by a handyman I found on it. I wanted him to supply and fit a new non-standard front door, logged the request on their website on 7 March.

He kept on giving me updates about the door, managed to get me to pay R11900 into his account. When I checked with the manufacturer, there was no door that had been made. He still has not returned my money nor has he paid a deposit to the manufacturer to have the door made.
